Customer Service Representatives: Requires extensive telephone and computer skills to set up new customer accounts, make changes to existing accounts, provide customer service and recycling education. Must have previous experience in customer service and phone work, and be able to multi task. Position utilizes multiple technology sources to track customer information, route activity and video records. Familiarity with Washington County is a plus.
Drivers: All driver positions require a minimum of a CDL Class B license. CDL Class A is required for some equipment. Drivers run their routes using RouteWare®. This system tells our drivers exactly what and where the next pick-up is, replacing paper route sheets with electronic data now fed directly to our office software.
Mechanics: CDL Class A license is required. Basic computer skills needed. Must be knowledgeable in all phases of truck maintenance & repair. Extensive work with electrical, hydraulic, brake and air systems. Welding knowledge is beneficial.
Fabricators: Prospective employees must be knowledgeable in welding, fabrication and design, MIG and TIG welding. Must be innovative, creative and open-minded, and capable of designing from the frame up.

Journeyman Mechanic-Truck and Heavy Equipment
Full time position, Monday through Thursday: Modified Swing Shift: 2:00-12:30.
Some overtime required. Holiday's worked on a rotation basis with other team members.
• Team Player with a positive attitude
• CDL Class A license must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Technical training certification preferred. "Real World" experience can be applicable.
• Basic Computer skills needed
• Must be knowledgeable in all phases of heavy equipment, truck maintenance & repair.
• Job requires extensive work with electrical, hydraulic, brake and air systems.
• Welding knowledge is beneficial.
• Must have an adequate complement of own tools.

The operations manager will be expected to manage day-to-day operations as well as participate in high level operation planning. This person will work with the other managers at Pride Disposal to manage and motivate staff, as well as to evaluate and develop staff. We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and has strong organizational and time-management skills. The operations manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of our operation including the staff, productivity, safety, as well as the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment and facility.
-Provide leadership for the management team at Pride Disposal
-Carry out supervisory responsibilities
-Plan, assign, and direct work (along with the shop foreman) for both the motor shop and fabrication shop.
-Assess work performance – rewarding and disciplining employees
-Manage the operations of our material recovery facility (MRF)
-Ensure our operations are in compliance with necessary standards such as environmental, regulatory, etc.
-Examples: 1200-Z stormwater permit, Metro area EDWRP standards
-Manage the upkeep and cleanliness of the yard (stay on top of repairs, leaks, maintenance, etc)
-Oversee construction that may occur on site
-Review company invoices and submit them for payment
-Maintain positive relationships with and within each department
-Oversee equipment purchasing
-1-2 years of management experience
-Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Windows, Outlook)
-Ability to think critically and problem solve
-Team player with a positive attitude
-Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Additional skills for consideration:
-Previous experience in the solid waste industry
-Previous experience working on equipment in a shop setting
-Overall knowledge of equipment used in our operations
