Q. What are the rates for my service area?
A. We service 6 different municipalities, which all have different rates and frequency of services. If you’d like rate information specific to your address please contact our office.

Q. How can I save money on my service?
A.  Is your garbage container too big? Or is it too small so you often pay for extra garbage on the side? Could you be recycling more? Call and talk to us. We can offer you pointers on how to downsize your garbage service by increasing your recycling, plus ways to avoid unnecessary charges.

Q. What are my payment options?
A. There are several ways to pay your bill:

Q. What if I have an item that's too big for my container?
A. Contact Us. We pick up bulky items (mattresses, couches, appliances, etc.) at your house for a very reasonable fee. We also offer temporary containers for special clean up projects.

Q: Do you take garbage on site?
A: No. We are not licensed to take garbage from the public at our facility. We would be happy to pick it up for you.

Q. What items will you take at your Recycling Depot in Sherwood?
A. We accept everything that you can recycle curbside except motor oil. We also accept many other items such as computers, televisions, metal, batteries, miscellaneous electronics, appliances, fluorescent lights, and much more. Please click here for more information.

Q: What should I do if I'm moving?
A: It is the customer's responsibility to stop service. Please contact our office in advance. We need to stop your service and retrieve our carts and red bins.

Q: What can I put in my curbside recycling?

Q: How do I dispose of sharps, needles, lancets?
A: Sharps can NOT be placed in your garbage. Oregon State law mandates proper storage and disposal of used sharps. Sharps include needles, lancets, and syringes. Sharps must be stored in approved bio-hazard containers (milk jugs and coffee cans are not safe or acceptable for sharps storage).

  • Return filled sharps containers to a certified bio-hazard disposal facility.
  • Contact your local pharmacy for storage and disposal solutions.
  • Check with your physician or veterinarian if they prescribed the medication.

Q: My pick up day falls on a holiday this week; are you changing your schedule due to the holiday?
A: Pride drivers work all holidays except Christmas and New Year’s Day. During these holiday weeks, service will be one day later from the holiday through the end of the week. For example, if the holiday falls on a Thursday: Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday, Friday customers will be picked up on Saturday.

Q: I am going on vacation and will not need service while I am gone. Can I get credit?
A: To put a hold on your service, please contact our office at least 1 business day in advance of your collection day.

Q: What time of day is my pick up?
A: Although we try to be as consistent as we can, pick up time may change each week depending on traffic, construction, staffing, or other circumstances. We ask that your materials be curbside for collection by 6:00am on your pick up day.
